Saw this. Seems like a good idea to me. Most states are draw only. ID might as well join them. More revenue by making you buy a non refundable hunting license to be able to draw

We shall see what happens. I applied this year and hopefully get drawn for gen elk tag or deer. If not drawn, always the controlled hunts to apply for.

just being selfish, i just hope i can buy my second elk tag again this year.
It used to be, go shoot a bull and go to the super market and buy another tag.
That went away in about 2019, that is when you bought the second tag the day residents could buy left over non resident tags.
That date is sometime in august.

Well I drew a WTD unit that is new to me this year. Decided to try something new, so that will be a fun time researching, learning and hunting it. Always a great adventure hunting a new area !
