I read this forum pretty much ervery day on my lunch break , but seeing how I could not draw a tag if there were 10 tags and only 9 people put in I did not have much to say. WELL GUESS WHAT it happened I drew a unit 52 deer tag for Idaho miracles do happen. My wife and I will be headed over for a 10 day scouting trip the first of Aug any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks

52 is a 75 tag about 1100 applicant draw each year. ..not an unlimitedLooks like it was 100% draw?

I drew it a long time ago. ..the roads can become dang near impassible if it rains alot due to the clay/mud...gotta be careful if those conditions are there. . But at the same time you want weather to push deer across the highway from the north. ..there are some good bucks in there, but definitely gotta work hard to find them. . Scouting is gonna be very important for you, though it's a hard tag, i wouldn't consider it an easy hunt. Good luck
