Draw or harvest stats?

Not that it would change my preferred unit draws, but DFG should release prior year stats before the app period. Should I file a Freedom of Information request to hurry it along?

if you mean to see if you drew before they are posted, about a week before they are posted you can login to your link on fish and game page as if you are going to buy a tag and if you drew it will show it as an option to buy, if you didn't draw you wont have the option to buy.

They have to notify you by July tenth i believe in writing.You can usually go on the IDFG website around the first of July and type in your information to see if you drew or not.

Beginning to think myself something is strange. Haven't draw an elk tag since 1993.Drew a few antelope tags and couple deer tags but no elk have had to do that over the counter every year. Manage to kill elk but looking for one of those covenant tags that are hard to get before I am to old.

I sure as heck won't be trading tags if I draw my elk tag. 1 week of archery in September and a week with a rifle in October sounds pretty good to me!

If you have a general tag already you trade it for your controlled hunt tag.

Or you can buy the general tag and then buy the tag you draw so long as the quota hasn't been met in your area.
