I was able to get a 2002 lund at a decent price. I didn't need a new boat and nice having one with electric troll and fish finders etc already on it.

People are catching 20# macs like crazy. And by people I mean not me and the guys I went with.

225 ran like a top but the 15 had trouble on idle and ran like a banshee when throttled up. I'll probably pull the carburetor and take it to a guy that got my prowler running like new. Imagine one jet is plugged.

While my favorite ice fishing is above 12,000 ft for 18" - 20" natives with the snowmachines we have been catching a lot of give or take 10 - 12# lakers this year that are about 30" or so with the bigger fish mixed in.. Here are a couple we landed since the last post the biggest below was 39" and over 25#.. My 3 year old enjoys fishing but is scared of any fish over 30" lol!

Still getting after it around here! When the snow sets up there is nothing like fishing 12 miles back and above 12,000 ft for Natives.

Thanks everyone and there is no worries about ice around here! It was over 4' deep and we had to use a extension as we tried out a new lake yesterday. The gps said we were just over 12,600'...

Great cuts some little pigs sure good to see them so healthy this late in the season. Pry the last time I will get out ice fishing this year.

We both ski and use snowmachines to get to the lake(s).. Most of the time snowmachines. The lake that produced the cuts above was in a zone we usually dont hit but went in 16 miles just to fish it..

I also spend a fair amount of time snowmoboarding/skiing/guiding the backcountry in the winter and when we see a good lake while we are skiing we come back and fish it. Some of these lakes pry only get ice fished once every 10 years to never and this year the snow is so set up we can literally get anywhere.

This run ends on a lake we were fishing.. Oh yea the snowmobile assisted skiing is pretty fun as well!
