Have you guys hunted 101 antelope archery? Ive hunted across the highway a few times. My bro in law pulled that tag. Were definitely using the ponies. Please dont make me 8

HS I've hunted 101 quite a bit. The problem is private land. The Clover valley on the east side is mostly private land and Starr valley on the west side is the same. I have seen them on the north end near the creek that feeds towards some private land close to the I-80 but they rarely come off private alfalfa fields. Best bet is to locate them on the private land and wait them out

Doesnt jakes valley run across the highway into 101 or am I thinking too far east?

Jakes valley is the valley south of Ely between unit 221 and 222. I haven't heard of that valley near 101 but I might be wrong

Ya I looked it up. I was thinking 108. 101 is the far north side of 10. I always get the 101-108 confused and consider it all of area 10.

I think your lope tag is good for 109 and I always see a bunch of them in that unit driving to the rubies

Ya it is. I also researched my bro in laws bull tag. I assumed it was the same as my deer area 221-223 but its 223,231,241,242 late. That changes the whole game. Im not sure what tag is the most exciting.

I've seen some big a$$ bulls in 231! That unit was my first choice but I got my second choice in 221-222. That's going to a fun hunt once you get into them. Congrats to your brother in law

That is a very doable goal. You should see 320"-340" bulls all day long.

Drew the same tags as the last three years for me. Bro drew the same tags as last year and my mom and dad finally drew.

My mom drew 221M rifle deer buck.
