Hunting Colorado GMU's 7 & 8

Anyone have any tips for hunting GMU 7 in Colorado?

For what species? Were are you from you should head over and introduce yourself in the new members section. It will help you alot there is alot of good guys on here that can help. I am used to hunting north park gmu 16-16-6-17-171 I know a bit about 7 have a few friends that hunt there yearly it can get a bit busy and crazy with hunters coming up from fort collins.

Will be hunting elk. Just moved here last year and new to hunting elk in Colorado.

Rifle 3rd Season

In 7 I'd stay toward the north end during 3rd, as weather will generally move them that direction.
