Huge bighorn ram

Thought I would tease you all with a picture of a gorgeous ram. This guy came from over near Anaconda Montana a few years ago. He is 49 1/2" on the long side and 46" on the short side!!! Man I need to get my sheep permit application turned in!!

By comparison here is a picture of a ram a friend got that was 40 1/2" on the long side! Still a very nice ram too. This beauty was taken with a Ruger 1B in 6mm Remington and a 100 gr. Nosler Partition. Just for clarification, I never took either of these rams. I was fortunate to go on the hunt for the bottom ram and loved every minute of it. The gentleman posing with the larger one is the person who took it.
