I just wanted to pop in and introduce myself. My name is Calvin and I am moving to Bozeman in a week to pursue a life of hunting and fishing. I drew an antelope doe tag for unit 17 and look forward to picking some brains on here. I wish everyone a safe and happy hunting season!

Thank you all very much. I am very excited to swap out golden retriever sized whitetails, wild hogs, and gators with elk, antelope, and deer. I have a general elk/deer for Montana and I sent my VA paperwork to Idaho to get a license there as well. I am really looking forward to getting out there and writing, filming, and cooking as well. If anyone is near Bozeman and doesn't mind a partner tagging along; I will happily film it (to the best of my abilities) in exchange for some good conversation. I am going to MSU for Environmental Science and will likely be working at Schnee's part time. I cannot express how excited and nervous I am leaving Micanopy Florida and driving out there. If I do not freeze or get eaten by grizzly my first year I think I will be okay. I look forward to networking with everyone.
