I dont know how old they are but there is a hand written price sticker on the norma box for $4.59. I found them in my great uncles house atleast 15 years ago and never knew he had it or a 6.5x55 until after he passed. It was missing the rear sight and the cal is not stamped on it. I took it to a gun dealer I knew when I found it and he claimed he couldnt identify it. I hung it on my wall and it stayed there for years. This winter I got looking at it again and figured out it was a 6.5x55 and put a peep sight I had from another gun on it. Anyways I took it out and shot it for the first time today and however old those bullets are they fired just fine!
Did yours cost $4.59? lol For some reason I think these are from the 60's but Im not sure why I think that? Anyone remember when bullets were around $4 a box?
This past weekend, I was loading some 9mm ammunition, and using up remnants of some powders. The old prices were amazing Bullseye $12.49 per pound; Accurate #7 $9.95 per pound. Compared to a pound of Titegroup that I bought last year for $29.95!
