How is 53 for cows in nov

I am moving next week to Cody. Since I missed the draw how is 53 for cows in November. I very experienced backpacker and don't mind the hussle. Is it worth my time.

Oh. It sucked. I did find some and missed at 300. Shot gun next day and was 5 inches right and 6 low at 100 yards. I hunted two days a week every week of the season walking 10-20 miles a day. It was a ghost town.

Yes I am living in the great state of Wyoming. Also not many places to pay trespass fee for that tag.would be a few years places if they were in the river bottoms but they were not there.

Congratulations on your move to Cody. Each time we go to Cody, we never want to come back (Missouri). I haven't read a lot of positive stuff about HMA/public land being successful. We hit 58 two years ago, but it never got below 50-60 degrees. Coming back to Cody for (hopefully) a couple cows this November, but not sure on unit. Need the meat, but love the scenery and mountain air.

Did you figure out what the issue with the rifle was? What was the scope/mount?
