Antelope doe that is.....The buck tags went like hotcakes in unit 21. Will the doe tags go as quickly?
No answer to that question unfortunately. I am going after tags tomorrow that will be gone in seconds I'm guessing because there aren't very many. For your area I bet there are some left days from now just based on the number of tags- but nobody really knows for sure. Typically if you see 100s of tags left over, people don't get in too big a hurry to buy them. If there are less than 100- they go fast usually.

I've watched the leftover tag list pretty close for the last few years. The small amount of public in units 23 and 21 are really going to get pounded this year. I'm sure that a lot of guys like me who love to hunt antelope but didn't draw their near sure tag this year bought leftovers just so they could go. I'm afraid it will be more crowded than normal.

I think that's a very good assessment of the situation in those two units and a couple others near them that guys keep asking about.

Right TopGun, guys had better get their antelope first thing opening day. After the pressure of the opener, the antelope head to private land...and safety. Finding one wandering back onto public ground for a week or better will be wishful thinking. I hate hunting like that....the areas with leftovers are always hard to hunt because of access issues.
