I believe I joined due to google hits on some elk hunting units I was investigating. Had a subscription to the magazines for years prior to joining the forum. If it wasn't for the "I just drew unit XX. Not looking for your honey hole but could you tell me where to shoot my elk" posts maybe I would have never found and joined. :)

I think so. I?m going to be honest here, I subscribed to both EHJ and EBJ for a long time, last time it was time to renew I passed. I get more entertainment from this forum than I do the magazine.
to be honest. I agree I really don't often even bother to open the mags and usually give em away ,unread to others.
but I do keep buying them , mostly because I like this forum and it is my way to, pay to play.

I appreciate that you buy them and support the forum that way. Keep opening the E-News and watching our YouTube vids, that grows the digital presence greatly.

I had a mule deer hunt coming up so I googled the unit and walla up popped a post from a member. The rest is history. Have conversed and shared knowledge with many good and knowledgeable folks on here. Very thankful I found it.

Got on the forum after getting more interested in the High Country Mule deer pursuit. For someone new to backcountry hunting, this forum is a wealth of knowledge. I have really enjoyed myself. Admittedly I have dropped off from this forum and Eastman' publications a bit, but really enjoy the forum group here.

Reading through NSA documents the Eastman's name kept popping up, so I had to come check it out.
😆. It?s the perfect cover identity. Wasn?t there a trip to one of the ?Stan?s recently. Hunting trip? Sure. Subliminal messages all throughout their media to raise an army of heavily armed hunters. This at least could be a cj box book. Genius idea lol.
