I couldn't make them shoot as well as Berger's. I wish I could have since I really like the bullet construction and BC.

Ok. I'll let you know. I'm shooting berger 185's now and they shoot really nice. Maybe should just stay with those, but I guess I just have to try the latest thing! Lol

I shot them out off a 300 Wm I compared them to ablr and vld and my gun picked the 200 grain eldx will be flinging one at a cow here in a month or so. Haven't hit game with them yet but have heard of enough reviews and results to give them a fair Shot

I used the 143 gr eld-x in my 6.5 creedmoor this year and they hammered my antelope, dropped like a sack of rocks,,upon butchering,i found massive devastation to both front shoulders,,,that eld-x hammered him.

I am shooting them out of my 300wm with good accuracy. I have not had the opportunity to use them on game. But, my friend shot a cow elk this year with 162grain from his 7mag with very good results.

The 212's are more accurate than the 200's out of my 300 RUM. In fact they're more accurate than any other bullet I've loaded out of that gun.

I used the 7mm mag factory ammo this year in my Tikka T3x. Groups were a little over an inch at 100 yards. Interestingly the $20 a box Winchester Silvertips I used for sighting in grouped 0.50" to 0.65".

Last month I shot a bull Elk at 325 yards. Unfortunately I was just a wee bit excited and hit him in the shoulder. He dropped immediately, but was able to get back up and went maybe 50 yards before going down for good. The shoulder was shattered as you would expect. Nothing left of the bullet to speak of, but a fragment did find it's way to the heart.

Yesterday I shot a mule deer buck though the lungs at 162 yards. He dropped immediately and expired in seconds. The bullet went right through with minimal meat damage. The exit hole was surprisingly small, about the size of my thumb, but I can't complain about the end result.

Not sure if I'll stick with this ammo or not.

Something to frame the discussion. Accuracy from factory ammo will never be determined IMO from price. COAL and individual manufacturing tolerances of the ammo will always trump everything else. I can pretty much guarantee if you measure your most accurate factory ammo, take a caliper with you shopping, crack a box and measure it. The closest will shoot the best when bullet weight and twists are correct. I've done this myself before I started hand loading. I've even taken stupid cheap cartridges that were too long and seated the bullet deeper( not to compress powder) and drastically increased accuracy.

Happy thanksgiving everyone!! Well just got done trying the ELD X bullets. First group I tried I used 62 gr. Of rl 17 @ .010 off the lands and the group was just over and inch@ 100 but had pressure signs, so I backed it off to 61.5 gr. and also backed it off the lands to. 015, pretty much the same deal.
So my next group I tried 62 gr. of H4831sc @ .015 off the lands. 6 shots were about an inch. So I bumped up to 62.5 gr. of H4831sc that 6 shot group, all the holes were touching with the exception of two, which I think I threw.
All in all, I think they shoot just as good as the bergers, in my rifle anyway. I like them.
Wanted to check the speed but my chrono seems to be on the brink!!
