Thanks Hilleberg tents for this giveaway. Although fairly new to hunting I've been obsessed with Bighorns since a very young age. My parents have some property that is within one of Montana's "Unlimited" units. Id be using the Nallo 2 for the tough unlimited areas in, hopefully, the next 2 years. The states that I plan to hunt with this tent is Alaksa on a float hunt for moose and caribou; and at home in Kansas and Missouri for whitetails because you can't hunt hard without a good nights sleep in an awesome shelter. Words can't describe how badly I wish I could win this tent. I was regretting not having one this September on a Montana mountain goat hunt with two of my friends.
My friends greatly appreciated having their Hilleberg tent on my good friend Phil's mountain goat hunt this year, as they are a great product and it was definitely needed. We camped at just under 10,000 feet elevation and got nothing but rain and snow the first 2 nights we were up there. Luckily for my friends Dan and Phil, they had a Hilleberg Nallo 2 to stay warm and dry in. Unfortunately for me, I brought the run of the mill tent with me and ended up cold, soaking wet, and miserable every night. Much thanks to Hilleberg for giving this tent away as I know first hand they are a great product and work in extreme conditions.




As you can see, September 1st at 10,000 feet in Montana doesn't always mean nice fall weather. After it all, Phil did manage to take a great billy after the weather improved and a few good but failed stalks. It was a hunt I'll never forget for multiple reasons, beautiful country, extremely tough conditions, and don't ever fail to bring a Hilleberg!



If I win this tent, I'll definitely be using it for any backcountry hunts I go on. Mule deer, elk, mountain goat, or big horn sheep, whatever I'm lucky enough to chase!

If by some chance I would actually win something for once in my life, I would use this piece of equipment to chance the way we currently hunt. Currently we hunt from campers or from the house, but need to start staying in the backcountry to really get serious. Deer and Elk would be our primary targets.
