Hey everybody. Been searching this forum for a long time and have been a fan of the show and mag longer. I am a member on several other hunting sites so you might recognize my nickname.
I am from Tennessee, I'm 50 and have been hunting since I was 12. About 7 years ago I started hunting with traditional archery gear but kept hunting with a rifle when the seasons allowed. Where I live we are eat up with deer and turkey, bear is about 2 hours away but accessible. The one thing we don't have in numbers are Elk!
I'm former military (Army SF) so I'm big on helping veterans out whenever possible.
I am a custom knife maker, mostly hunting knives but I've made a few tactical. I do it when I can find time but would love to do it full-time. My full-time job is a Government Missile Defense Engineer (i.e. cure for insomnia), but it pays the bills.
