I was watching a Wyoming high school basketball game. I noticed they did not jump ball for possession at the start of game. How do they determine possession? Do other states do this?
My daughter plays a lot of BB in Wisconsin, they are not doing a jump ball either. The visiting team gets the initial possession and it's alternating possession after that. Somehow the kids are supposedly more at risk of spreading the virus during a jump ball. Welcome to the world of Covid.

I am currently at a basketball tournament in Wisconsin, and I think the reason for no jump ball is to maintain the social distancing between the refs and the players. It’s been bugging me all year and I think I finally figured it out. It’s really hard for me to try and think like a liberal.
