Im Jeremiah, and finally joined after reading treads for ever and dreaming about elk hunting. I am from Indiana just outside Cincinnati Ohio.
I made my first trip to CO last year in the monsoons of archery season and have never been so wet in my life. This year my 14 yr. old son and i are off to 501 for a second season rifle hunt for cow elk and mule deer buck with his new 308 that he detasseled corn to buy last summer. We are going to be hitting the Haymen burn area so if any one would like to chip in for advice on this unit for a youth hunt jump on it. Some great info on here Thx to all that contribute.
