Herter's bullets

Has anybody used or anyone know much about Herter's bullets? I see them on Cabelas super cheap sometimes but am just wondering about the steel cases. Is it harmful to a rifle to use the steel cases? I don't care so much about the bullet itself, just if it is ok to shoot these bullets. Thanks.

The steel cases won't hurt anything, if you get the gun too hot the lacquer coating can get a little soft and make a mess. The steel case stuff is not generally considered reloadable. I have shot quite a lot of it over the years and never had a problem.
