You should check around grandmas house... I hear there's one that's been after her granddaughter. If you don't have any luck there, head over to where those three pigs live. I think he's been hanging around there too. Good luck!

I went out yesterday myself and had no luck. I was using a predator call and hoping for either wolf or a coyote, but never saw either one. Still had a lot of fun and did find a group of elk over 120 in number with several young 5 point type bulls in the bunch. Pretty neat to watch them!!

There is a wolf hunting derby up in the Salmon area just north of you December 28 and 29 unless the anti wolf folks have there way. It makes me upset hearing folks getting their lives threatened over wolves. I was up in the Salmon area this past fall. We heard a wolf in the evening and saw some tracks up high in the snow but never saw them. I hope you get one ivorytip!

no wolves killed in first day of derby but one truck tire was slashed, they arent sure if it was an anti that did it but we all know it was. and these freaks that threaten peoples live over hunting elk, putting the life of an animal above that of thier own makes me so sick. go threaten the life of a child molester or a rapest or a woman beater and you are ok by me but dont put the life of a wolf above our own lives, that there shows us how crooked and disgusting these people really are.

We will never understand what goes through their heads. Hope some wolves hit the ground and they dont cause any more trouble or they atleast get caught doing it.

no wolves at all, but 14 yotes. did get on some fresh tracks of a pack of atleast 8. didnt look like any young wolves in that pack. followed the tracks for 5 miles straight up the rd, snow got to deep and couldnt keep driving. knew i shoulda loaded the sleds....
