"How much did you tip on your last hunt and what did the hunt cost?" He doesn't need opinions on how much people think is right he is just writing a paper on the industry.

guided elk hunt 4500 tipped 400 plus a nice horse-mounted bow scabbard

Guided elk hunt for 3500 and tipped 350 (10%).

I've tipped up to 15% if I feel that my guide worked hard. Much less if he was lazy. I've also added extra to the 15% if he caped or did extra above and beyond his duty.

I've paid $2k-$4k for elk hunts.
