Hello Guys I have large post on mule deer forum,I,m looking for help with my homework. Need all views on this. Two 71 72 year olds with 20 non res deer points looking at 2018 hunt in unit 2/ 10 / or 201. Question do you elk hunters see much for nice deer, and 2nd or 3rd season. 2nd has a full moon, good, bad? Talked with BLM and game people ane still lost. April coming on fast and trying to find best area. I will have a great time just so walk in mountains again. Been 20+ years. Here in WI it,s flat. Forgot to say colorado. After checking more today, looks like 3rd season is out of reach with said points. Point jump just goings nuts. Can,t blame guys for going.so going back and looking more. Thanks again John
