Pick up a bow!!! I finally caved and tried bowhunting last year for the 1st time!!I have seen some big elk in that area too! Had a 7x7 in ML range 1 year that had no idea I was there. This thread is making me want to go hunt there again! I wish the ML season was 10 days earlier.
I want to I just havent had the money to spare yet. When is bow season there?Pick up a bow!!! I finally caved and tried bowhunting last year for the 1st time!!
Thats worse yet. Obviously no one setting UT season dates ans ever farmed in Eastern WA. lol Most years I could make the last week of it atleast! It's like August 16th - 12th of Sept for deer.
Alright, I couldn't exactly remember if thats where all the Hard Red was farmed up their.Bout 20-25 miles north of Pullman. Soft white is our biggest crop here. There is some hard red but its hard to impossible to make protein here and some years they doc you alot for low protein. Used to plant some in spring but decided barley was better. Hard red does better west of here. Its dryer and they dont get the crops we get but they make protein most of the time.
