Hello everyone, I finally got the Outdoor Channel and saw the show and went online to join here. I Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself my name is Justin I am married to a wonderful wife named Krystal who loves to hunt and fish. We have a daughter Amanda who is 10 and I have a son Tyler who is 21. I have grown up in the mountains here in Virginia, well what I call mountains I guess. I have hunted most all my life and have taken just about everything you can here in the east. It has always been a dream to go out west and live and hunt and finally I am going to get that chance. I will be moving out west next summer once my daughter finishes school this year. I know this may be a topic where I get a lot of different answers from everyone but because I have the choice to pick any state I want I was hoping to get some advice on the hunting out west. I have always liked Idaho personally but I hear the wolf population is making the hunting more difficult than it already is. Thanks and I am looking forward to getting to know you all on here and exchange stories and stuff.

Thanks, Justin

Welcome to the forum. My preference is Montana. But hey ID is nice to, and the good thing is you can get a wolf tag in either, so either one as long as you promise to shoot a wolf.

Thanks for the welcome. I am definitely looking forward to next year and yes I will be buying a wolf tag if I choose Idaho or Montana. I'm still leaning heavily toward Idaho but am going to do some more research on Montana. Thanks again.

welcome to the forum. I live here in Idaho and its awesome!!!! I am sure Montana is nice to but never have lived there just passed through a couple times looked great though. Always said if I didn't live in Idaho I would head towards Wyoming. But we can shoot wolves here that's a plus.
