A little about me. I was born and raised here in Montana. I am a traditional bow hunter for the last 20 years. I enjoy hunting elk, mule deer, bear, and whitetails. I wish I could draw a sheep tag. The only things I hunt with my rifle are coyotes and wolves. I am new to hunting wolves this last year was my first as I just moved from eastern Mt to western MT I got wolf tags for both Montana and Idaho this last year. It was also my first year hunting Idaho. I plan on hunting Idaho in the future for deer so I figured that I should do my part and try to help kill some wolves. If anyone has any tips for me on hunting wolves I could use it. Is there any other Traditional bow hunters here?

Welcome! My son just moved to Bozeman last week. He took a job at a lab aging wildlife teeth. I guess they do a lot of bear, cougar, deer and elk at this lab. Today is his first day on the job. We love archery hunting, but are not traditional.

Welcome to the forum I'm new on here as well and just posted my hellos a couple days ago. I found this forum researching Idaho for elk and plan on hunting there for deer and elk as well. Good luck on the wolf hunting, they are not easy to hunt.

Welcome buddy. Traditional bowhunter here also, Black Widow recurve, fletching made of actual feathers, beaver fur silencers, etc. Lots of fun threads on here, and an amazing monthly beaver thread in the General Hunting section. :)
