Not familiar with these forums much, but this site seems to be awesome.
I reside in Michigan and I am passionate about hunting whitetails, turkey and elk. Hope to hunt Alaska for moose and caribou in the near future. I typically hunt primarily with archery gear, but also hunt occasionally with firearms. I hunt whitetails primarily in Illinois and have hunted elk in Colorado, Idaho, Washington State and Michigan. I enjoy back country cowboy style hunting for elk. My elk hunts have all been OTC do-it-yourself hunts on public land except for one drop camp.
I am looking to possibly partner up with some other hunters that are passionate about hunting elk as I am. Seems difficult these days to find guys that willing to commit early and are willing to put boots on the ground and venture deep of the beaten trails.
Looking forward to following this forum, always eager to learn more about pursuing elk in Gods country.
