What a great forum Eastmans has, I read through it briefly and am Impressed with the info and the helpful members it has. I am a native from Arizona starting out hunting with my dad when I was 8. I love chasing the coues down south, and the big bulls up north. im a firefighter in fountain hills with my first baby on the way in August (hopefully it wont cut into my hunting time but who knows) anyway glad to be part of the forum and if you guys need any help hunting down here hit me up

Welcome to EF! Congrats on the little one! I plan on hunting Javelina in AZ this year and Javelina and Coues next year. I'm gonna have a ton of questions.:)

gonhunting247- which unit are you putting in for javelina/coues?
I'm looking at 33 and other units surrounding Tucson, but I'm still open for suggestions and keeping all options open! I just returned from Tucson which was my very first look into it so far!

gonhunting247--

for coues i would suggest 36A and 36B...36B being the best unit in the state for coues IMO, plan on spending all day glassing saddles and shady slopes. a spotter is definitely needed here

and javelina are everywhere in our state i pull them out of 37B every year, also 22 has alot of pigs and also the highest density of mountain lion in the state averaging 11 lion kills a year so buy a OTC tag if you want to hunt this unit just in case
