New guy from Arkansas here. I grew up in the Ouachita mountains hunting and fishing. As life gets more hectic seems I have less time to get in the woods. I have started backpack hunting during the last couple of years, to cut down on travel time, and figured where else to pick up tips on spike hunting than in a place where the members hunt the West.
Any advice or tips will be appreciated. We also just became aware of CWD here in the northwestern part of the state and I hope to see how other states have dealt with this disease. How big off a change did it really make in season dates and bag limits?
