Hey guys
I'm just wanting to introduce myself.
I'm a Oregon native and elk enthusiast at heart, but I currently live in the great north.
I've archery hunted since I was 14, but recently picked up a rifle for a few years up here.
I don't care what I'm hunting with or for, I just enjoy being out there.
I love hunting off the beaten path.
I'm a solo hunter for the most part, but my wife freaks out when I go in the mountains by myself. Lol
Quick little example....
I had a goat tag this last fall near my home in soldotna.
I hunted for 7days straight backpacking with no luck. Seen lots of goats, just couldn't find a billy in a spot where he wouldn't fall 2000 feet.
I left my home for a day trip at 5am, kissed her on the cheek and said see you tonight.
Well long story short. I got home at 2:30am on Wednesday. Lol
She was mad as a wet hen. I was so beaten, scratched, bleeding you name it she looked me in the eyes and informed me I was never doing that type of hunting alone again! Haha
I'm looking forward to hearing all your stories and good luck on the draw this year!
