I saw on the news Death Valley hit 128 today. When I see that I am glad I moved from Southern Arizona to Colorado. I used to live in Parker, Az for a while as well as Havasu and Casa Grande. Parker and Havasu are hot as HELL!

It has been in the low 90's here in Laramie and I can't stand it. I couldn't handle living where it gets to over 100.

Freakin stupid hot! Try being in the roof at 20 degrees hotter then what they report. 115 yesterday on the roof at 2pm! Sucks big time! Decided to go to Lake Tahoe today to get away from the heat. 89 degrees is much better and 52 degree water makes you cool off real quick.

Been over 100 for 3 days! I was out mowing and irrigating at 7:00 this am. Done by 10 and went into my reloading room and cleaned guns and loaded some ammo. ONLY 80 in there. Am going to do my am walk of 5 miles at 6:00 tomorrow morning when it is still fairly cool.

We've had a cool front move in, highs in the low 90s, lows in the low 60s....I sweated my butt off yesterday out in the woods filling feeders & on the tractor eating dust.

Yea, me to. It got up to 108 or so here today, you only have a few hours in the morning "first light till around noon" to do anything outside then back in the house !!!! I'm forced to work in the heat during the week so i'm not about to stay in it on the weekend.

I hear that! As nice as it would be to sleep in a bit on the weekends you have to get up around 4 and get your chit done by nine. The rest of the day is inside work. Im not sure about the highs here in vegas but its been pretty miserable. This is the first year Ill admit to being whooped by the heat. My younger years it never slowed me down. I remember playing football on the pavement and it hit 118 when I was younger. Im having my swimming pool replastered at the moment. I feel like a puppy in a window waiting for completion so I can go play!

It hit 113+ both days this weekend, plus it's more humid outside than normal. So, the swamp coolers didn't work very well, but they're all we have, so it was 85+ and muggy inside the house. If we didn't have ceiling fans, we would have been better off outside.
