Happy Easter to my fellow members! Most important holiday of the year. Sure glad the tomb was empty!
Now go eat too much and then regret doing so.

good post . but because I am silly, I just had to ask …. do they really live for a millennia in the middle east?I also wish one and all a very Happy Easter.
I spent the better part of a year travelling through Turkey/Syria/Jordan/Israel/Egypt back in 1992/93. I couldn't get past how some places just feel powerful. Sanliurfa(Edessa), Ephesus, Constantinople, Damascus, Jerusalem, Nazareth, the Sinai, Solomon's temple(the Western Wall), Mary's grotto, the Garden of gethsemane, the Dome of the Rock and how they overlapped. Christmas, Passover, Easter, Ramadan and all the other festivals celebrated in pagan, judaic, christian, muslim times. Abraham, Moses, Joseph, Jesus, Mohamed and the places they actually walked they just feel different when you follow in their footsteps. Where three of the worlds major beliefs had their roots and talk to the people who have lived there for millennia. It's a tragedy that we can't seem to truly celebrate how Jesus taught us to. Promoting peace, humility and the love of our fellow man. Jews, Christians, and Muslims all celebrating the same Holy lands, same root, same ancestors. Not what is happening around us right now.
