We've been checking on some bighorns relocated near our area the last few weekends. I think the game and fish released about 45. They've been spreading out but we have found one nice ram in the area they dropped them in. So it inspired one of our pumpkins this year.

That is some skill! Holy smokes. It kindof looks like the evil CSU Rams. They just whooped on my Cowboys, dang them. You should sell that punkin in Fort Collins and make some $$. Good job.

Heres one from last year, my attempt at doing the scraping method that doesn't cut through IMG_2369.jpg
And the inspiration for the ram, we saw him from about 1000yds away and had to hike down a finger ridge. We got to where I though he would be and didn't see him so we sat there for a while. I don't know if he heard us and thought we were his buddies but he walked right up to us and skirted around us at about 70yds for 45 minutes. Awesome to see and I hope the herd does well. Maybe sometime in the future there will be a huntable population.

I know very little about sheep but he looked very healthy and when I tried counting the growth rings I was coming up with 7 or 8. He's number 93 on the eartag though, I could see that!

Maybe some of you sheep guys can rough score him. I have 50 more pictures of him if you need another angle let me know!
