I had the time of my life chasing mulies in the Laramie Peak area last week. That is so much funner than hunting whitetail. A true western style hunt and got to hunt in a blowing snow storm. Even though I didn't connect I am addicted and plan on putting back in for the draw next year. I learned a lot about hunting mule deer for sure. Where I had seen them the last 2 summers they were no where to be found last week. Next year I will know to work up lots higher and not waste a lot of time watching the Meadows as was suggested to me by a local I had talked to this summer. We did see this big boy as we were headed out on the way back to Texas. When we first saw him we weren't sure if he was a big mulie or small elk.

We go for about 10 days every summer. Next summer I plan on exploring some higher altitude so I won't waste 2 days of hunting like I did this year. Still had an amazing time and can't wait to go back!

Glad you had a good trip. I'd take Muley hunting over whites any day, much more "active" hunting in my opinion. Welcome to the addiction, haha.
