Same here.Hoppes Number 9 and Sweets 7.62. Been using for years.
OK- based on this post I purchased and tried the KG-1 (Carbon Cleaner) and KG-12 (Copper Remover). I have used Sweets 7.62 and Hoppes #9 for years. I would like to say I don't usually do reviews and am not easily impressed, but I was impressed with these products. There are several very technical reviews on the internet you can "google" as to why these products are different and work. I will simply just say, I was very impressed and at least for the KG-1 and KG-12 they work very, very well.Same hI switched to the KG line of cleaners a couple years ago. I use KG-1 and KG-12. Very happy with them and do not have to worry about ammonia damage to my barrel when I remove copper with KG-12. Always finish with a couple passes of a lightly oiled patch. Just a few months ago I got a pro-Shot double coated rod and a Neil Jones bore guide for a new rifle. Impressed with the bore guide and the rod. ere.
Thanks. I was thinkjng of trying these...i just ordered some now.OK- based on this post I purchased and tried the KG-1 (Carbon Cleaner) and KG-12 (Copper Remover).
