I thought he'd score more than he did until I walked up on him and realized how small bodied he was. Didn't really get a good look at him once I saw him in person, just IDed the kickers and boom.

I got a 140gr 137net whitetail this year and I thought yours was a lot higher scoring. My deer dressed 155. How much did yours weigh?

155 was live weight. Didn't field dress, but that should have been around 120-125. Most of ours around that age will go LW between 180-210 depending on their build.

My deer from this yr went 142.75 gross IIRC, I'm not going to get a net score on him bc majority of score came from one side.

We always go by dressed weight here. Most of our mature bucks here will weigh between 150 and 180 dressed. So pretty close to what you have there.

On one place I require both weights to see how they're doing. On this place I don't shoot enough deer to get any idea by keeping up with it. I've shot 3 bucks off it in 7 years and my wife has shot 1. Nothing under 5 gets shot and I'm usually looking for 6-9yo bucks that have managed to stay hidden. Kind of a downer year, an 8pt I've been after since '09 finally went missing.
