Great Bull what tent were you using in camp looking for a diff tent

That is a 9.5' x 9.5' alaknak from Cabela's. Love it, even with 3' walls. Now they have the 10' x 10' with 4' walls that would be better yet, thinking about upgrading. Gets too cold, throw in the wood stove and run you out of there.

Just wondering if you were able to do it all on private. I thought I had heard on Grouse Creek they get hung up on private a lot. Kind of like on deep creek unit where they are on the reservation land a lot...

Didn't have any permission for private property or wanted any. Complete hunt on public BLM property. They have 5 elk CWMUs in the Grouse Creek unit which took away some of the best country. Whole reason I applied was to hunt along the Nevada border, but where I wanted to go was a CWMU.
