Yeah still several years down the rd. Id love to see them added to Idaho's trophy hunt species. Or super hunt tag at least. But... The day Is closer!!!

It's a step in the right direction for sure.. I'm pretty tired of the amount of grizzlies I run into each fall.. but I still think it will be quite some time before a season.

Yeah, it will be several years and incredibly limited quotas.

I imagine that if they do decide on a season that it will be a very limited quota and I am sure that a few of the tags will go to auctions where they can get some big bucks for them.

Imagine what someone would pay to be one of the first tag holders for a grizzly in the lower 48.

I think nonres. tags in WY are set at $6000 right now. I'll be lucky if I live long enough to see a grizzly hunt in WY. Several groups have had lawsuits ready to go for years and are just waiting for delisting before they drop the hammers on a hunting season.

But first we must deal with the inevitable lawsuits yet to be filed by the bunny huggers. This could drag on for awhile.
If they had access to attorneys, the bunnies themselves would not file as many lawsuits as radical wildlife groups.

Animals understand nature way better than some humans do. And no, humans are not animals, at least not most of them. I can think of exceptions.

Last I saw a non-res grizz tag proposed fee was $7500.

They could easily quota 1 non-res boar tag and 1 resident boar tag.
