I went to the Northern Continental Divide Ecosystem Grizzly Bear meeting in Missoula last night. Montana FWP I believe has laid out an excellent plan for the bears and keeping their numbers at a level of sustainability after de-listing. It was an opportunity for sportsman to voice their opinions both in person and in writing. There is still opportunity for folks who would like to see this happen make comments. For most of us electronic seems to be the easiest way to do this. I hope that folks here would take the time to read the management plan and make comments to these folks. It's more important now than ever!

WE HAVE UNTIL OCTOBER 26, 2018 AT 11:59 pm TO COMMENT!!

Unfortunately, US District Court Judge Dana Christiensen ruled this week that grizzlies in the entire lower 48 must go back on the endangered species list until they are recovered in the entire country, not just WY or MT - see the Eastmans' blog

But, I wholeheartedly endorse us all commenting as encouraged above. We really need to make our voices heard.

This is a continuing battle, and if we don't fight, there will be no stopping the decimation of our big game from protected predators.

Extremists would much rather have animals killing animals of all kinds instead of hunters killing anything. What's the loss of livestock or the occasional human being to them? Stand up, guys and gals.
