Anybody else running the Grand Teton Half in June?
My gf wanted me to run a half with her so I said I'd be up for it if we could go somewhere cool. We looked at the Yellowstone half and the Teton, decided on the Teton. Driving from Nebraska so we're heading out a few days early "to acclimate"....and by acclimate I mean explore and scout some hunting country. ;-) This will be my second half (my first is gonna be in Lincoln in May), so I'm just getting into serious training mode. Should be a great experience! I also figured that if I'm gonna do one I better do it now. I'm only 34 but I swear things just start wearing out at 31 haha.
Any flatlanders that have run at higher elevation have any advise? The course is at just over 6000 ft, so not real high but still higher than where I'm training.
