Looking to get a new GPS. Any suggestions? What are you guys using these days?

Garmin Montana 600. I wanted a bigger screen and it is touch screen. Also has the new longer lasting lithium rechargeable battery.

Or the Garmin Oregon are a good choice too, I have one and love it!

I also have the garmin Oregon, had it for 3 years and really like it. Been in a lot of different weather and works just fine, never had a problem with it.

I use the garmin 64s. Takes some time to learn but great once you're dialed in!!!

We use the garmin rhinos on wildfire details for work. They are a little to heavy for lightweight backpacking use, but they also have a radio built in which is a nice feature if your hunting with a buddy or two. Two devices in one. You can also see your buddies location on your map screen if he has a garmin rhino too. We use this feature a lot when one dozer gets bogged down and we have to tow it with a second one. No more tracking all over the country looking for him, we just plot a route straight to him using the rhino. It would really come in handy if you had a bull down, and your help was on the other side of the basin. Just give them a radio call, and they could navigate right to your location.

I've been using a garmin Dakota 10 for the past few years, although I haven't gotten lost...I do think its time to upgrade.
