Fixed for in the dash or handheld?

I have a Garmin 62SC that I found in a mud puddle. Once you get used to the small screen it works great and you can change the state OnX chips fairly easy.

That's the model I have also, and it works great for hiking/hunting … but like you said the screen is small.
For CC's ohv I'd think a model that's a little bigger with a larger screen might be better.
Maybe something like a Garmin Montana or Oregon.

I have a Oregon. I was wanting something that can be permanently to the roll bar. I have a TomTom in my PU. Looking for something built for offroad that it can take a little more abuse. Some of the new sxs's offer a builtin gps in the dash.

I just run my IPhone with the current map/gps app in a Ram mount. Have it plugged into the 12V outlet. Bigger screen than my Garmin Rhino and I can run different maps/gps apps on it...
