gps cors and goole earth??

i know this was talked about last year but I cant seem to find that thread. how do I set up my google earth to read the gps cords as my gps reads them, or do I need to adjust my gps and not google earth. my gps reads the standard
N 11' 11.111
W 11' 11.111 im trying to search it on google earth and it just isn't working.

Set your GPS to use what makes sense to you, DMS or UTM, then change GE to use the same. A whole lot fewer clicks to change GE than the gps. Looks like you're GPS is "degrees, decimal minutes" but I'm no expert. In your example, with GE set to d, d.m you would remove the ' from the degree number and enter "N 11 11.111 W 11 11.111". I keep mine at d m s so I don't get twisted up.
