Really sorry to hear about that, CC. Shoulder rehab is tough and your's will be more so, but you're tougher. It's a badge of honor to endure pain and come out the other side stronger and tougher.

For inspiration, if you haven't seen the movie Hacksaw Ridge yet, be sure to go see it. It's a terrific true story about conviction, courage and toughness under fire. I'm betting you'll come out of there quoting a line that you'll know when you hear it.

Best of luck in a speedy recovery CC! Hopefully you're home and resting and watching hunting shows on TV and healing up. Have a great Thanksgiving as you recover and you'll be grilling up your antelope backstraps in no time!

lol, that doesn't mix well with the other drugs you know. Good luck with the rehab. Sorry it wasn't an easy one. It seems like they never know until they get in there. Hopefully the Physical Therapist is cute, that might make the time go faster.

Just remember, the pain is just weakness leaving your body. You're already ahead of the game, just because of your attitude. I'll pour you a shot of Wild Turkey, one won't hurt...BB

Had my 1st pt session yesterday, not too bad. A little sore today, but am off prescription pain meds totally for the first time in 5 years!

I go back to see the surgeon Monday to get stitches out. He should release me for driving. I can spend about 1/2 the time out of the sling, except for sleeping. Seemed to feel like I turned a corner a couple of days ago and have had almost no pain since then.

Just got back from a walk that I am going to try to do every day, weather permitting. Started by walking to our mail box, 1/4 mile R/T from the county road. 35 outside and wanting to snow. Really bundled up with my sling on the outside. Our drive way/road is pretty icy. Gotter done, so time for as cup of coffee.

Went in for my 2 week checkup. Dr did xrays and gave me the surgery report. Everything looks great, no complications. I can do some limited driving and go to PT 2 days a week. He said prognosis is excellent. I have not experienced much pain, but have taken a pain pill at bedtime so I can sleep better. Now that my Trojans are in the Rose Bowl on New years day vs Penn State, will probably get some comp tickets if I want to go. Not sure about going, but school is great about former players getting tickets.
