Does anyone take google Earth print outs into the field with them? I'm trying to think of the best way to print out the images. In addition to having my topo map of my hunting area I decided I'd like to carry actual images of the area too. I printed out some screen shots on my printer but the clarity wasn't good. I was thinking about going to kinkos and trying that, but I don't know if they'll do any better. Any suggestions?

Yep, I print an 11 x 17 and do one side GE and the other side topo with gradient steepness. I bring a whole booklet full of them for all the drainages in the area we hunt and pull out the one for whatever drainage I'll be hunting that day and just stash it in my cargo pocket to grab whenever I want. It's nice at the end of the day to get back to camp and have guys flippin thru the booklet swapping notes about their day. Really handy.

Yep ......do it sometimes when going into a new area.....especially when scouting and dropping waypoints. Its great to have a visual back at camp to review the footsteps and try to solve the puzzle of where they are going at different times of the day.

Do you print them yourself or take them to a kinkos style place?

I usually just take screenshots off of my phone, the clarity and sharpness remains, even when you zoom in a bit.
I thought about using my phone, but I like having something in my hand other than my phone. Plus with my luck battery will die or rain. I also don't like e-readers so it's probably just me.
