Plan was to tent camp on BLM for our October hunt.
I got a call from my buddy. He wanted me to come help him figure out how to get all our gear and ATV on his small trailer. Planning on two weeks of hunting and that requires a lot of gear. When I got there he has bought a new off road Pop up camper with toy hauler. Now the big concern is how to haul the needed water.
I guess it paid off sharing my points.

Pick up your water when you get in Wyoming. Some towns have bulk water spots for pretty cheap. City of Laramie has a bulk water place in town for those living out in the county.
We haul ours in 5 gallons water containers. Some NF campgrounds also have potable water, you could fill your jugs and perhaps pay a day fee to help with the campground upkeep.

National Forest campgrounds are $10.00 a day. Seniors with the Pass are $5.00.

I sure wouldn't haul water across the country unless I had to. It's about a 500 mile trip to where we usually hunt deer so I don't like hauling all the extra weight of water. We always stop and fill our water tank and extra water containers at the wildife refuge headquaters we drive by on our way in.
We have filled our water at BLM or Forest Service offices in small towns with no problem.
