Looks like I have a few weekends busy in NW Nevada...

Planning 2 scouting trips. One to cover as much ground as possible, and then a second to look into an area more in detail. The unit is 7 hours from my home.

Of the 3 units the tag is good for one of the units stands out in animal size and success numbers.

I've never scouted for antelope before, It is a game of Miles to see as many antelope as possible?, or finding those bunches that other folks overlook?

Will antelope be in the same places June, July and Late August?

My goal for the hunt is to better my Wyoming Antelope from last Fall that was 67 inches, with 4 inch prongs and 13 7/8 horn length. That was a late September hunt. i have a feeling this will be a different experience.

Ha that could be one heck of a hunt just with the scenery.

Good luck on your hunt. Wish I could help but I don't know the area.

Well I'll be manning the med tent at Burning Man if your adventures happen to take you to the playa. Good luck on your hunt!

I haven't hunted antelope but deer and smaller critters up in those units. Alot of those mountain ranges around black rock are very good tho. I'd stay away from the acid trip and work more north/west.
