General deer draw odds?

Can someone please refer me to the draw odds for general deer in Montana? I cannot seem to find it.

Not sure that I’ve ever seen them. I know for a fact that 2015 and 2016 were 100%. MT hasn’t put any 2017 odds out yet at all. If you have one PP it will be 100% in 2018 almost for sure. What are you trying to figure out?

Pretty high. Seems like anecdotally it was probably north of 80% last year.

We put in as a group of 2 guys 2 years ago and didn't draw. Still hard to believe what the price of a MT deer tag is. North of $600!

I didn't draw this year. Still don't know what kind of odds I beat to be one of the unlucky applicants. I do know that I was # 700-something on the alternate list, so quite a few didn't draw.

Deer combo 84%
Deer/elk combo 91%


I didn't draw the Deer/Elk combo but got one off the alternates list. I think I was number 36.

For many years it has been a 100% draw with leftovers available, but last year it was not. I believe this was the first time.
