we've been having snow geese falling dead out of the sky, 2,000 of them just fell dead out of the sky near mud lake and market lake here in Idaho. 2,000!!! wth?? and geese, not geeses

Happens pretty often. Only usually they just die on the water. I've seen 100's of ducks dead from it at the Salton sea in California where my Dad had a duck hunting club.

In central Nebraska there were thousands killed from hail during a storm years ago... they fell all over the town of York. It was a mess!

Wow never really noticed this before, thanks for the article. ( I try to do my part and make them fall out of the sky but some times I miss )
