In the mood for a new bow. Heard some good things about this one, currently shoot a mathews but was thinking of trying something different. Anyone shoot this yet or have one? Haven't been anywhere to try one out yet. Looks pretty sweet with that new cam and makes sense!

I would seriously consider elite archery. Their bows are not the fastest or flashiest on the market but if you like a bow that is smooth as butter and shoots like a dream then you will want to check out elite. I can guarantee that they have the best draw and grip on the market IMO. I have held and shot a lot of bows and unless some other bow convinces me otherwise, my next bow will probably be an elite.

Thanks dhershberger! I have heard a lot about them also. The closest dealer to me is 200 miles away, but could get one on archery talk. Have you shot the new energy? I also see some 2013 elite hunters on there, looks pretty sweet and a lot of people really love them. Sure are slot more affordable than a mathews or Hoyt!

I haven't shot the new energy but I can tell you from shooting the 2013 hunter and the 2013 pure that I am sure that the energy bows will be great as well. The hunter has the smoothest draw, the best back wall, and the nicest valley I have ever experienced in a bow.

I shoot the Prime Shift and really like it. Very accurate and very field tough. The warranty is second to none as well.

I bought an 2013 elite Hunter last night. Should be an awesome bow, I'll let you know.

Great choice mnhoundman! You will not be disappointed. That bow shoots like a dream and scored extremely high in the field and stream 2013 bow test. It may not be quite as fast as today's "speed bows" but it is a pleasure to shoot.

Thanks! We don't have a dealer close by so have never shot one,but did alot of research and I think I will be happy. Thanks again for having me check on elite! When I get it and shoot it I will let you know.

Shot my elite hunter tonight. Wow!!! That about sums it up, unbelievable. Thanks again dhershberger for reminding me of elite, smoothest quietest bow I ever shot!!

I purchased a defy 2013 last winter after shooting it in comparison to my mathews Z7. bows just don’t come any better than this. Mathews better change thier logo cuz prime just caught them.
prime is a game changer.
