One major pro to a full moon... it allows you to get earlier and stay out later... when hunting the back country, there are times I want to be through "that timber patch" or past "that rock face" before it's "too dark". When it's a full moon, I wait 30 minutes after dark, then it's like daylight again.

If it's the choice between hunting during the full moon or not hunting for 3 years I'd be hunting the full moon. I hunt every weekend during our 2.5 month season full moon as well. I don't keep a journal so I can't say with any certainty how it's affected my hunts, but any day wandering around in the mountains with my rifle is good. I would just stay out all day.

I archery hunted mulies in the high country of Colorado last year during full moon. my only complaint was the how bright my tent was at night. I found it almost more condusive to archery hunting because they get up to feed more in the middle of day. It allowed us to put a stalk on bedded and then wait for them to get up, more opportunites.
