Well we just wrapped up with our second season hunters which was very successful but I am wondering how we could do even better with one of our properties. We currently have about 75 acres of alfalfa near Craig Colorado that attracts quite a few deer but I was wondering if one of the food plot companies would have something that would produce even better results. The field is dry land but produces good alfalfa. Anyone have any experience with these products in a similar environment?

You'll need something specific to soil type/pH and climate. Seed companies can make specific blends for you. Ours is Winter wheat, elbow eye, Austrian Winter Pea. I'm just a wee bit SE if there though and in comparison, have no Winter.

I do see deer on the few Winter wheat, seedstock pastures where we hunt in Colorado.
